Rugby Indiana Welcomes Joseph Ramsbey, League Administrator

Rugby Indiana is pleased to announce the selection of Joseph Ramsbey to the open RI League Administrator position.  Joseph is familiar with rugby and rugby administration as he has played, coached, started teams, or held administrative positions with Indiana State Rugby, Michigan State Rugby, Indianapolis Impalas, Avon Boys HS, Westside Outcasts, and more. Additionally, he currently holds USA Rugby L200 Coaching and USA Rugby L1 Referee Certifications, respectively.  Professionally, Joseph has degrees in Criminology (BS), and Criminal Justice (MS), and most recently was a police officer with Avon Police Department. He looks forward to using his skills and experience to help grow and improve Rugby Indiana. 

As the League Administrator, Jospeh will be responsible for: Administration of the youth and high school league, state championship, and tournament schedules; Ensure match officials are scheduled for each league, championship and tournament game; Audit coach registration and certifications to ensure compliance with USA Rugby and Rugby Indiana policies; Administration of Rugby Indiana’s online registration system; Administration of Rugby Indiana’s player grant program; Administration of Rugby Indiana’s injury reporting system.
